(Fr) Dix-neuf ans après la fermeture des mines de charbon du Nord – Pas de Calais, dix anciens mineurs de fond marocains attaquent l’Etat français en justice pour discrimination raciale. Ils réclament les avantages sociaux qui leur ont été refusés pendant quarante ans alors que les autres mineurs des autres nationalités, polonais, italiens ou algériens y ont eu droit. A travers le procès et la rencontre avec d’anciens mineurs en France et au Maroc, le film révèle l’histoire de ces hommes et du racisme institutionnel qui les a frappés depuis leur arrivée dans les années 60.
(En) Nineteen years after the shutdown of coal mines in the North - Pas de Calais, ten former minors from moroccan decent are suing the state form racial discrimination. They ask for their social advantages which were refused for forty years, when other French, Algerian, Polish or Italian minors, benefited form those rights. Through this trial and the encounters with French and Moroccan minors, the movie tells the story of these men who suffered form institutionalized racism which hit them, since they arrived in the 60s.
